The results of recent research to evaluate the digestibility of amino acids and metabolizable energy in several new or modified feed ingredients will be presented. The primary ingredients that will be covered will be new higher protein coproducts from the ethanol industry and also insect meals. The results of recent research on developing and evaluating a new method for determining the relative bioavailability of the energy in fats will also be presented. Additional recent research on determining the bioavailability/digestibility of phosphorus in different feed ingredients using several different methods may also be presented.
