Devan Catalano is from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and completed a research internship at Kentucky Equine Research. Devan is in the second year of her PhD program after completing her MS from the University of Minnesota. Her research covers many areas including forage grazing trials, the creation of bodyweight prediction equations for individual breed types, and testing the old wives tale that goldfish keep water troughs clean. In her free time, Devan enjoys hiking with her dog, Casey, or riding her horse, Tio.
